Alertzy's goal is to make the lives of Edmonton residents easier by giving them an easy way to receive updates and notifications to their cell phones through SMS Messages (and now e-mails as well!).
We currently provide a service for Garbage Pickup reminders, which can send you a helpful message to take out your trash before your Pickup day. Our second service will send you alerts whenever the City of Edmonton changes the closure status of their sports fields.
Users can subscribe to the services provided by Alertzy, and easily customize them to suite their needs through our web interface. Services will then send automatic notifications to the subscribed users.
Because Alertzy uses SMS it is compatible with any cell phone that can receive a text message. Best of all our service is completely free! Thanks to our sponsor Direct Text Marketing, we are able to provide our services with no cost to the user.
We now also offer e-mail updates so anyone can with any e=mail account can still benefit from our services!

I use the new sport field closure option! It sends me a text whenever the field status changes. No more going to the website and mashing refresh waiting for the field closure page to update, or calling that annoying field closure line. Very bad@ss!Leif
