Would tell home owners information about what is going on in their neighbourhood (garbage schedule, crime rate - if EPS permits, community events, local services, local community forums, etc.)

Additionally, it could have construction notifications, fire ban warnings, local weather, and notices of planned city worker activity(like street cleaning, or road/sidewalk maintenance schedules, also snow cleanup schedules in the winter - perhaps GPS equipped snow graters so they can be tracked by drivers on wintery days)
Could also have a local bylaw reference function (to look up fire pit laws, etc.)
