Nothing slows down a commute more than running into construction. An app that updates you on ongoing construction in parts of the city would be a major boon for commuters. Also, if the app could be extended to include perhaps sites of traffic accidents, commuters would know which roads to avoid--either to construction or traffic accidents.

I don't commute regularly by car and so I often get killed by construction I am not even aware of, and usually when I am on my way to a meeting. It would be great to have a trip planner - for car and bus travel - that is aware of construction, road closures (events etc) and major accidents. Then I could just choose my route as I get ready to leave.Michelle
This would be wonderful! I am visually impaired and construction really is disorienting.
